Though it has the look and ambience of an established country estate, Zagaleta’s Riding Club provides the finest facilities for stabling, grooming, coaching, practising and both recreational and competition riding.
The amenities are kept in immaculate condition, where the eleven horses and ponies are looked after with loving care. In fact, many of our residents have relocated their horses from abroad because of the standard of the facilities and treatment at our equestrian centre.
Set within the estate is the Riding Club of Zagaleta. Like an elegant country home within a peaceful, verdant setting, it offers the facilities of a first-class equestrian centre, including twenty stables, six paddocks and a covered area for training, dressage and show jumping.
Once here, you might feel that you’re not on the Costa del Sol but in a country estate near Seville, for walking up the driveway flanked by gardens is like entering a private world far away from the bustle of everyday life.

The Riding Club offers expert coaching for children and grownups, beginners and advanced riders keen to advance to competition level. We have the facilities and dedicated staff under the leadership of Mr. Manuel de la Flor, to make horse riding at Zagaleta a delight at all levels and welcome you to enjoy one of La Zagaleta’s most refined lifestyle activities.
Zagaleta on horseback
This is an oasis of peace dedicated to the pursuit of the equestrian tradition, one of the most popular leisure activities among our residents, for whom it is an excellent way to disconnect, spend time with their children and explore the beautiful natural surroundings of Zagaleta.
There are many routes to choose from that will take you through wooded groves and green valleys; past burbling brooks, natural ponds and even waterfalls, where you can spot deer, rabbits, squirrels and all manner of birdlife amid majestic mountain and sea views.
