The Big Bang, a watchmaking icon by Hublot, has been given a dazzling look as the brand celebrates the tenth anniversary of the model in a new collection. The Hublot Big Bang Unico Haute Joaillerie Collection consists of only ten watches each expertly covered in baguette-cut diamonds, rubies, sapphires or emeralds of approximately 36.24 carats. Over 350 hours of setting are required to create just one of these models. Each piece features three of the most complex setting techniques for a total of 132 baguettes with invisible setting, 127 with rail setting and 396 with Clou de Paris setting.
The watches are powered by the Hublot HUB 1242 UNICO movement developed and manufactured in-house by Hublot. They feature self-winding flyback chronograph with column wheel and double clutch visible on the dial side. In this exquisite collection, Hublot features the bezel set with inverted trapeziums for the first time. In another first, the counter surrounds on the dial have also been stone-set. Each piece is an exceptionally unique creation and comes with Hublot’s new strap release system with a deployment buckle in white gold and set with 33 baguette-cut diamonds.
