Timepieces making trends at Baselworld 2019

“Baselworld remains the world’s most important watch show,” commented Jean-Daniel Pasche, President of the Swiss Watch Federation FH for the opening of the trade show.

Bulgari continues to impress with a limited edition of a very slim re-interpretation of the Tourbillon Carbon. At only 1.95mm, the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Carbon is the thinnest-ever automatic carbon watch:

Jean-Daniel Pasche points out that “Baselworld is not only about the big brands, but also about the diversity of exhibitors: Big brands, small brands, and brands from so many different countries.” The latest edition is already making headlines as brands unveil their creations.

Patek Philippe presents the 5212-A Calatrava Weekly Calendar, an elegant new complication with an automatic movement in a stainless steel case. They have also introduced a sporty blue 5172G Chronograph featuring the CH29-535 PS chronograph calibre with extraordinary precision and improved amplitude:

Newcomer Menintime makes its debut at Baselworld with the Le Paon timepiece in ten variants:

Hublot also celebrates their partnership with a new watch model. The Classic Fusion Ferrari GT was designed in collaboration with Ferrari’s Flavio Manzoni and Hublot’s expert watchmakers to combine aesthetic creativity and mechanical innovation inspired on the world of GT racing:
